The “Add custom widget areas” should be working well now. Many other bugfixes, see http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=2393
Please ask questions at the BFA WordPress Forum
For a preview see http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/atahualpa
There’s a hardcoded blogroll in the right sidebar which will be removed in a new update in 1-2 days. For now you could just delete it yourself if you wish: http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=3602

Dear Bytes for all
thanks for creating this theme. It is really useful and easy to work with. More power to your development team. Please see the website that I made using the theme on http://virwc.org.au/lost_in_transition/

I’ve finally found where is the problem.
In footer.php the endif (line 64) is in the wrong place, move it to the line 79 and the widget blogroll don’t appears 😉

I’ve the same problem than Gianni, the widget blogroll appears in 3.4.3 and when I downgrade to 3.4.2 the widget blogroll disapears. I’ve searched a little but I don’t find why…
I’ll seraching again later but if someone have the soluce, it will be useful 😉

Sorry, maybe I accidentally broke it. I re-downloaded the files and re-diff’d them and they do appear to be the same.

Congratulations Flynn for this new version of my favorite WordPress Theme 😉
I am not having the problem that describe Zach with this version (donwloaded in this site). I’ve tried the version in wordpress.org and there is no problem too…
Keep the pressure 😀

Hello Flynn,
1. the theme directory downloaded from WP is called “atahualpa”, yours “atahualpa343”.
2. after the upgrade (with the WP version and yours too), the widget and post titles have changed their font dimension (→ 24px).
3. a new “blogroll” widget was added at the bottom of the right sidebar – Flynn, consider there’s no blogroll widget in the widget area under
Appearance → Widgets/Right Sidebar section!!! So, there’s no way to remove the brand new “blogroll”…
– My site before the upgrade (screenshot 3.4.2)
– My site after the update (screenshot 3.4.3)
– Right sidebar with the blogroll (screenshot)
Regards
Gianni

I am not having that problem “admin options page links to not work” that you describe. Also the files appear to be identical except for the different directory names. Anyone else having a problem with the download from wordpress.org?

Note: the download from wordpress for 3.4.3 is broken. Here’s the differences between the version from bytesforall.com versus the one from http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/download/atahualpa.3.4.3.zip
This causes the admin options page links to not work. This thread discusses the problem: http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=621
